Tableware/ Dinnerware for Boats

It was founded in 1968 with the designation of "Fábrica de Faianças do Marquês", name of the family that created it and whose activity was the manufacture of ceramic pieces (faience), painted by hand.

In 1979 the company was acquired by the "Gamboa" family, which continued and improved the work that had been developed and changed its designation to Faianças da Malveira.

The company set up a school in the region, teaching and training its workers as potters or painters of the pieces that were produced there.

This work had great success in international markets, namely in France, the United Kingdom, Germany and the United States, to where most of the production was exported. In the national market its work was made known through its own stores located in Malveira, Ericeira and Sesimbra.

In 2006 the company diversified its business area, dedicating itself to the hotel/restaurant and advertising fields and changed its name to Cergam.

Currently, "Cergam" has again diversified its business and created the brand "Cergam Nautic", in order to fill a need of the nautical market, namely tableware, cutlery and glassware, personalized and unique.

We decorate and personalize the best porcelain and cutlery and glass produced in Portugal. Personalization on porcelain and glass is done through serigraphic decal cooked at high temperature, ensuring the quality and longevity of the decoration, while on cutlery laser engraving is used.
